What Could A Big, Tender And Swollen Bruise Above Hip Be?

I have a big bruise on my side just above my hip. I didn t hurt myself, it is the 2nd one in a couple of weeks within that area, tender to touch, and swollen. It has red dots and lines. I m worried because I haven t knocked or hurt myself and it is a big bruise

Thanks for the query.

you might be having a low platelet count and hence you are developing these bruises.

Get your platelet levels checked.

Usually it takes around 2 weeks for the bruise to heal,

you can use oint thrombophobe to get a faster relief.

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
