What Could A Bloody Red Bump On Inner Thigh Indicate?

I have a small, blood-red bump on my left inner thigh. I ve never had sex, and this has never happened before. I woke up with it there and it was bleeding a little bit. What is it? Should I be worried? How do I get rid of it, and can it be something that doesn t involve me going to the doctors....?

Hi,

As per your query you have bloody red bump on inner thigh which could be due to clogging of sebaceous glands with dead bacteria and sebum as excessive glands are there. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and maintain proper hygiene and dryness.

Wash properly with cold water and apply topical antibacterial cream bacitracin. Take oral antibiotics as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You can go for peeling as well.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
