I had one small red bump in my public region (the size of a pencil point or a bit bigger) that came on about a week ago. It did not hurt or itch or anything. In about 2 days I guess it popped in its own from just the rubbing of my underwear (I never touched it at all) and a very small scab was there (like the size of a pin head). No pus or anything on my underwear. The area then forms a white flaky patch where the bump was. Still no itching or pain and still no other bumps at all. It was a little red so I out some Vitamin E oil on it. Then is got worse and a bit bigger (smaller than a dime) and had uneven red edges and a flat white center. I stopped using the Vitamin E oil on it and now it s drying out but still has a flat white center and is starting to flake again. I went to the doctor about two weeks ago because I thought I had a yeast infection so they did a culture and it came back negative for everything (all infections and gonorrhea). It s so strange because it s just this one area and there is never any pain or itching or discomfort at all. I have been with the same man for over a year and then this culture I had done came back negative for everything. What is this single red spot that turned into this red area that gets flaky but no pain or itching or any other bumps at all? Any ideas would be appreciated.
