What Could A Itching Sensation Be A Little Lump Like Swelling In Right Cheek For A Smoker?
hi ..i am a smoker but not heavy 6-7 cigrts a day. for about some time i feel a lilltle lump like swelling in my right cheek ..but there is no lump . i also feel itching sensation somtime in same cheek . what could it be . please help
The lump like feeling may be due to spasm of a group of cheek muscles, perhaps as a response to exposure to toxins in smoke. But still I would suggest that you consult a doctor as there might be a lump or any other lesion that you have not been able to detect. In the meantime, try to cut down on smoking as much as you can. The number of cigarettes is no doubt important, but cumulative exposure to even less number of cigarettes per day can cause serious damage after years. Please ensure that you take adequate amount of B-complex vitamins.
Best wishes.
