What Could Be Antibiotic Associated Itchy Vagina With Green Chunky Odorless Discharge Resulting In Blisters And Itch On Partner S Penis ?

I had strep throat and was taking antibiotics. But right after i began, my vagina was very very itchy. After a week the itch subsided followed by me having green chunky odorless discharge, my boyfriend and i had been having sex during the two weeks this happened. The first week after the sex a few hours later he complained of blisters on his penis. And it being itchy. He blamed that he had left his condom on for too long after the sex and that it was that. After the second week we had sex and wore condoms the whole time.but when he put on a condom and we began to do it, it burned me and him at first. And afterwards he complained of blistees and an itch again and for me it just hurt. ... what can it be?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Antibiotics can sometimes cause vaginal infections in some women. It is possible that the symptoms that you experienced may be related to this.

Most vaginal infections that occur after antibiotics are yeast infections but the discharge associated with yeast infections is normally white/yellow.
Infections that cause green discharge are trichomonas, chlamydia, gonorhea.

It would be best for the two of you to consider visiting your doctors for an assessment. The doctor will be able to take samples to determine the exact cause of your symptoms.

The treatment would depend on the findings.

I hope this helps
