What Could Be Causing Gastric With Motion Problem?
Hello Doctor.....My father(73 yrs) had severe gastric problem for the last 1 month n for him motion was not proper...recently he did OCCULT stool test n that blood trace was positive.....he consulted a DR and he has given medicines fo 15 days and after that he said if there is need we wil do Endoscopy...what will be the reason and is there anything serious in his case

-All positive occult blood test should be followed by a colonoscopy for direct visualization to exclude colorectal cancer firstly.
-Please don't worry, any gastrointestinal lesion can bleed and cause a positive fecal occult blood test result like adenoma ,polyp and hemorrhoids.
