What Could Be Causing Intense Pain In Left Abdominal Side While Suffering From Kidney Stones In Mid Pole Area?
I have been having a pain in my left side for about 5 weeks. I had an kidney ultrasound a month ago and it showed a 3mm stone in the mid pole area and then I had a KUB last week and it showed the stone had grown to 4mm and was still in the mid pole area. I have also a UTI for the last 5 weeks and I am on my 2nd round of antibiotics. My question is since the stone is in the mid pole area of the kidney..could this be the cause of my pain?
Hi, It seems that your redcurrant pain on left side might be due to kidney stones only. Due to having stones there are possibilities of having recurrent urinary tract infection as well. This can give rise to pain as well. Take plenty of water. Ok and take care.
