What Could Be Causing Sharp Testicular Pain?

I'm 31 years old and I have noticed lately that my testicles hurt the the left one so bad sharp pain and I have always notice that my balls go up inside I can't see them if I'm just laying down eon't be up inside I can feel it my balls will hang them high unless I'm in hot water than a lot lower .sorry. can't afford the answer. that's why I haven't gone to a doctor have no insurance thanks for the help anyways

NO problem for what your financial condition is.
The balls can go high up and is normal in cold weather and when there is any pain. This is a natural response of the body.
The cause of the sever pain can be due to a torsion, meaning a condition where the ball while going up rotates on its own axis to hamper either the return blood flow or hindrance to the arterial blood causing a sharp unbearable pain.
There is a simple operation of fixing this big problem , wherein you can have a dead testis if not treated within 6 hours of occurrence.
