hi my name is trisha, I am an ultra marithon runner. I am going through menipause and it has changed my body. It has effected my training. How do I get this extra weight off(my diet is primarly fresh greens no meat no fast food no gmo food no pasta or anything that turns into suger. I don t do sugers of any kind. I eat sardeans and salmon for protein . I eat raw nuts I think i should stop eating nuts to fatting . I v almost eliminated everthing that would turn into to fat. I just don,t know what to do . I training for 100 mile race I will do any thing to get this fat off of me. I just cannot live with this problem. what should I do.
Menopause by itself increases the predisposition to increase weight. This comes due to hormone insufficiency and lowering metabolism. I think you should continue to exercise and keep doing physical activity. Also, keep a well-balanced diet without exceeding the calories intake.
