What Could Be Severe Cough With Raspy Sound While Breathing, Sore Throat,blocked Nose And Appetite Loss?

Hi, i have been sick about 3 weeks it started like a flue then I couldn't stop coughing till the point where i coughed to hard a blacked out. I started feeling better the next day but i woke up and my eyes were puffy and hard to keep open. I feel hot and cold all the time and my stomach and chest feel like there's something pushing on it I'm always tired and i have loss the energy and the my apatite to eat. Now i feel it hard to breath and my throat is getting squashed. Every time i breath it's a raspy sound and i can't breath threw my nose because it feels like I'm not getting enough air and when i breath threw my mouth it feels like im not getting all the air i need.

Hello
Initially you got infection ,either it was a viral or bacterial ,that's why you developed fever ( as you mentioned that started feeling of cold and hot ).
Now you are complaining that there is fatigue , difficulty in breathing , loss of appetite , throat pain , puffy eyes , cough all these symptoms may be due to .
1 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis , physical examination find out ronchi ( rales or raspy sound as you mentioned ).This is mainly due to bronchoconstriction .
2 The next reason may be due to pneumonia ( or consolidation of a part of lung ) as such type of symptoms are very common in pneumonia . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest .
3 Cor pulmonale is another most common cause . In this condition patient feels difficulty in breathing with tiredness and loss of appetite .Heart involves with allergy in lungs ( respiratory system) .X ray will find out .But in your case this is a least common cause because duration of illness is very short.
In my opinion consult a G P and get his opinion.
