I have had blood in my urine each time tested for 5 years. I can not see it. But it shows in the urine test. I just had a pelvic complete test and everything can back ok. What could be causing this? And do you feel it is nothing to worry about ? I am 59 year old woman.
I presume you have had an ultrasound of the urinary tract and cystoscopy as part of evaluation. Is there any evidence of protein in urine. If so you will need to see a nephrologist. If all tests are normal and you still continue to have blood in your urine, my practice is to do ultrasound and cystoscopy every three years or whenever visible blood occurs in your urine.
