What Could Be The Cause Of Constant Stabbing Pain In Right Testicle?

My husband just woke up with a stabbing pain in his right testicle. He says it is a 10 on the pain scale. It is just constant and he doesn t know what would cause this. He didn t have any injury to that area today. Is this something that will go away or should we go to the ER?

Sudden stabbing pain on testis implies that it is torsion of testis. Does he have swelling as well? If yes then, Take him to ER as soon as possible. He needs to get treated as soon as possible.
