What Could Be The Cause Of Intermittent Pain After Urination, Cloudy Urine, And A Coconut-like Smell?

Hi, I am having intermittent episodes of extreme pain after urination, and urgent need to pee. I also notices at time cloudy whitish urine and also urine smelling like somewhat like coconut water. I did urine routine and culture sensitivity tests and reports were normal. Please help.

Hello,

Your urine routine and culture sensitivity tests came back normal. Interstitial cystitis can cause pain and a frequent urge to urinate, even without infections. The pain can often be worse after urination. Post-void dribbling or bladder dysfunction can also lead to sensations of urgency and discomfort, even if there's no infection.

Mild UTI often manifests such symptoms. The cloudy urine could be due to mucus or tiny particles. Coconut water-like smell could be caused by certain metabolic or dietary factors. Get clinically examined by a urologist or gynecologist. Get required tests and functions done. Get a bladder cystoscopy or more specialized urine testing done.
