What Could Be The Cause Of Low INR Count In An Elderly Individual?

sir, my father in law is about 78yrs old and on acitorm 2 for about year now and recently his inr count was 1.97 this week. so i just want to ask which fruits and vegetables he can eat and which to avoid as because of not eating healthy he is becoming weaker and weaker day by day

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. His INR is good. Any person with history of stroke or risk of thrombus, INR needs to be maintained between 1.5-2.5.
2. Continue the medication. However diet needs improvement.
3. Ask him to take multiple meals involving fruits, vegetables for fiber, fish, egg, pulses and green leafy vegetables for nutrition. Moderate amount of carbohydrates with low fat is essential. He should take plenty of fluids. He will improve. Social involvement and family support is essential.
