What Could Be The Cause Of Severe Abdominal Pain During Early Pregnancy ?

Hi this is my second pregnancy and i have had really bad stomach aches for a few weeks now, i am 12 weeks on Wednesday but I keep panicking that when i go for my scan they wont find a heart beat..My belly doesnt seem to have grown much either. Is this just me being paranoid? Thanks

Till 12 weeks of pregnancy, uterus is a pelvic organ and you are not supposed to feel any buldge in your belly. Minor bowel disturbances and occasional pain in abdomen is normal in pregnancy. I feel that going for an ultrasound scan will help in clearing all your doubts. Please do not worry.
