Hello Sir, from past few days I am feeling an unusual sound in my left ear. Sound like someone has slapped on my ear and sound remains in my ear.... It happens to me first time and its very annoying. I am not able to concentrate on my work at office.. I have checked this with ENT doctor also he has prescribed me dose of two medicines Enzocort 6 and Mucolite 75 mg. There is no reliefe at all also from yesterday morning I have a dizziness feeling like I will get faint any time but its not happening. Please help me out.. I am getting mad :(
Hi, the auditory tube dysfuntion due to common cold may cause unusual sound in ear. It is nothing to worry. In addition to above medications please take 1. antibitics like clarithromycin500mg twice daily, 2. vertin8mg thrice daily, 3. xylometazolin 0.1% nasaldrops- 2drops each nostril thrice daily 4. Steam inhalation once daily 5. sweing gum twice daily for 3 days. Aviod head bath for 1 week. if persists consult your ENT specialist. Hope this will solve your query. Wish you speedy recovery.
