What Could Be The Cause Of The Clots And Abdominal Light Pains?

I am a 32 year old lady trying to have a baby for about 5 years now. Am currently waiting for blood tests carried out to check hormonal balances, had a pelvic analysis done which came out saying i had no uterine problems like fibroids. Day before yesterday was my ovulation, had sex with my husband, but problem is i am having blood clots, before sex had been spotting but was told its normal during ovulation. What could be the cause of the clots and abdominal light pains?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Spotting, sometimes amounting to bleeding, is seen around ovulation. Yet, post coital bleeding is not normal and this should be investigated. Erosion of the cervix, polyps of the cervix and the endometrium, infections etc., can cause similar bleeding. Mild cramping pain can be seen during ovulation. The pain lasts for a shorter period. Hope your query has been clarified. Wish you good health.
