What Could Be The Cause Of Tiny, Burning, Pinpoint Specks On My Skin That Appear And Disappear Quickly?
What are these tiny, pinpoint size, specks that appear on my skin all over? They appear, burn and instantly disappear. Sometimes singly, sometimes in unison in a row, or in a cluster. Groups above are small so far, maybe only as many as ten. They do not wash off with ketoconazole shampoo. Clotrimazole helps a little. I do have some visible, what looks like yeast, on my legs and arms. Sometimes there is a flare-out feeling of invisible fluffy clouds. Ive been to dermatologist. He said allergies. I dont believe it.
Take care of your hygiene, take bath regularly and wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Apply clotrimazole ointment or miconazole powder to keep the affected area dry and cool. Fungal infection spreads very fast in a warm and moist environment. Avoid wearing sweaty clothes. You can take antifungal medication orally if infection is resistant and takes a longer time to get cured.
Take antihistamine at bedtime, one stat for 5 days to reduce symptoms of allergy or inflammation. Get clinically examined by a Dermatologist. Get examined and evaluated so that treatment can be started at the earliest. Your dermatologist may recommend Laser treatments if required. It is an effective solution to fade hyperpigmented spots.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
