What Could Be The Chronic Pain In The Knee?

I worked as a driver helper for UPS and basically I was jumping in and out of the truck for about a month and doing a lot of fast walking . I do remember my ankles getting a little sore, but my left ankle has been chronically sore for about 3 weeks. I can put some weight on it, but it is difficult to maintain a normal gait because of the pain. What could be the likely cause?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to arthritis or local inflammation , due to repeated trauma. For this reason, I recommend taking calcium supplements and ibuprofen or Naproxen for the pain. Having some rest is necessary too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
