What Could Be The Lump On The Upper Thigh Area Which Caused Discomfort And Left A Purple Bruise In The Area?

Hello, I ve noticed a strange sensation in both my legs within the past few months. Most recently on my right leg upper thigh area. At first it felt like a lump and there was discomfort. I sit the majority of the day at a desk and am concerned because now the lump has gone away but has left a blueish purple bruise in the area where the lump was.

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears to be the insect bite, or the infection of the filariasis spread by the culex mosquito.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment You may have the mid night blood smear for micro filaria done along with other tests for confirmation.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms diethyl carbamazine citrate, ofloxacin, and diclofenac sodium.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
