What Could Be The Non Surgical Treatment For External Bleeding Hemorrhoids?
Dear Doctor, I have bleeding piles with external protruding mass from about six years.I have consulted doctors in all fields of medicine. One doctor suggested ksarasutra ligation. I am afraid of this procedure and fear that some nerve may get cut off, and also about the post surgical pain. Can I get cured or control, only with diet and oral and external medication only? I prefer this even if the medicine is to be taken over a long period of time. Please advice.kp
hi first - wishing u a happy new year and welcome to our site
read your query that is a very interesting question and i appreciate your problem
i will try my best to answer your query
i would suggest you go for the surgery it is quite a safe and small procedure now and recovery does not take much time most centres in fact discharge within 48 hours
medicines will not help much if you are bleeding stool softeners can be tried for sure and take high fiber diet with plenty of fluids
but in my opinion, surgery is the best answer esp since a surgeon has already seen you and suggested a surgery, i would ask you to trust his judgement
as for pain and other risks you are afraid of noone can tell you about them better than the person who is going to perform the procedure
would like to know your ongoing cbc, pt/inr
i hope this helps you inform the reports mentioned above so i can be of help further best of luck
(please do understand that some problem remains as online texting cuts down history and examination thereby reducing the effect and efficiency and increases reliance on tests)
