What Could Be The Painful Bump On The Roof Of My Mouth?

Hello, about 2 days ago, I felt a painful bump on the roof of my mouth. Today I took a mirror to look at it and It's red and hurts really bad and I'm pretty sure It's bleeding because I left it alone for an hour and when I went to use mouth rinse I saw blood..

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the bump in the floor of the oral cavity could be because of the tooth infection or gum infection causing periapical or periodontal abscess or cyst. the bleeding could be because of the gum infection. consult your oral physician to rule out these things and get a rdaiograph done in realtion to the palate like occlusal radiograph and OPG. if there is tooth infection it can be treated with antibiotics and RCT. if there is gum infectio then oral prophylaxis can be done. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
