What Could Be The Probable Reason For Struggling To Pass Urine?

My age is 50 yrs. and underwent TURP on 01.07.2013. Subsequently urine flow improved for about 40 days. Recently I am struggling hard to pass urine in every 20 mints.. Urine has almost ceased to flow. what could be the propable reasons? Asim Krm Bal YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of TURP for enlarged prostate 6 months back and now has difficulty in passing urine .
This is most likely to be due to what is called as Post TURP bladder neck stenosis or stricture of the urethra which is common to happen after endoscopic urethral surgery.

Please consult your Urologist he may do endoscopic incision of bladder neck or Urethrotomy to cut the stricture depending upon the findings on endoscopy,
