What Could Be The Reason For Absence Of Period For A Month And Then Period With Dirty Blood Which Could Not Produce Flow ?

I LAST SAW MY MENSTRUAL PERIOD IN DECEMBER 15TH 2011 AND NEVER SAW IT AGAIN UNTIL FEBRUARY 9TH THROUGH 16TH 2012. MY QUESTION IS THE BLOOD WAS VERY DIRTY AND CAN NOT PRODUCE A FLOW OF BLOOD. EVERY TIME I WIPE MYSELF I FIND DIRTY BLOOD, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

see to the gynecologist to rule out any problem.
