What Could Be The Reason For Been Gassy And Feeling Nauseated During My Pregnancy Period?
I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and I have been gasy all day but not that I'm trying to sleep I feel nauseated and like I might have to go to the bathroom. I was contractions earlier this evening but they have stopped I'm was only dialated 1cm and 50% thinned with baby's head down what's wrong with me
Hi. You are at term pregnancy.37 weeks is considered term maturity for the baby and your tummy is fully stretched at the moment pushing your diaphragm up. This causes discomfort(not equal for everyone)and more acid in stomach leading to gastritis and the gastric motility is reduced. This is the reason for nausea and it also causes constipation. The distended uterus irritates bladder as well and you feel like going to bathroom again and again. You can get contractions any moment and it seems your cervix is favourable for. Keep a regular check with your treating dr. and follow her advise. Thanks.
