What Could Be The Reason For Burning Sensation After Taking Zoloft?
hello I took a zoloft and a vitamin and 30 minutes later it feels like i have an ulcer. there is a very bad burring sensation i tried drinking milk, had something to eat and i vomited hoping to throw the pill up. nothing is working what can i do please
I understand your concern. One of the known side effects of Zoloft is upset stomach. Taking both Zoloft and the vitmin on an empty stomach could have also contributed to this discomfort. Taking an antiacid like Zantac (ranitidine) would be the sensible thing to do. If the burning sensation persists in the future, then I suggest you stop the medication and see a doctor for further evaluation.
Wishing you all the best
