What Could Be The Reason For Delayed Periods After A Dnc?

i had a dnc done on march 31st and I got my 1st cycle on aug 23rd I have had next cycle on sept 11th and the 3rd on oct 15th after which I fail to get any today is 15th jan I am yet to get my periods .I had a home pregnancy test and it proved negative

Hi,

Actually post abortion it takes minimum of 2 weeks for the ovulation to occur. your history says you had 3 cycles after that & any unprotected sex after that can increase the chances of pregnancy if you have a regular 28 days cycle.

I advise you to do:
- USG pelvis to rule out pregnancy
- Healthy diet & iron supplements
- Excess fluid intake
- Consult your gynaecologist for further assistance
