What Could Be The Reason For Frequent Headaches And High Fever For Child ?

Hi, I have a 5 year nearly 6 years old son, and for about 8 months on and off he complains of feeling very hot with a headache followed by him being sick then he s fine again. This keeps happening every couple of weeks. If you have and idea of what this could be that would be very helpfull thankyou. I have been to the doctors and I am awaiting an appointment with a childrens specialist at the hospital. Thankyou.

thanks for the question. its very important to know if he has watery eyes ,photophobia, any particular time for headache in a day., vomitting or nausea. if all these are present then relatively indicates migraine. also if any food or emotional event triggers it or not. also please check for anything if it is upsetting him. sometimes it is cover mechanism for children.
