Hello and welcome to HCM. your problem seems to be due to after effects of radiation treatment you have undergone in past. radiation therapy leads to permanent dryness in oral and oropharyngeal area due to reduced secretions and saliva. radiation therapy also sometimes leads to narrowing of the airway and oropharyngeal region due to contracture. You need to get yourself checked with an ent surgeon for local examination. you may also need an endoscopy for your throat.
