What Could Be The Reason For Having Heart Palpitations?

i cant stand the feeling and im trying to nap but cant sleep because of them. ive taken day nurse today 3 times (morning, lunch & evening) & for over 2 hours ive had heart palpations & its scary why is this happening? i cant see a doctor because im on holiday in scotland & theres no walk in centres in this town

Dear sir

There are so many reasons for having palpitations like
1. Thyrotoxicosis
2. Hyperthyroidism
3. increased sympethetic function of the heart caused by increased levels of adrenaline and nor adrenaline
4. Uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes
5. Stress and anxiety.

So you need to take each of these things into consideration, and take steps accrodingly.
