What Could Be The Reason For Having Lumps Under Lower Jaw?

My 17 month old daughter had a high fever (103) that lasted for 3 days. Now she has lumps under both lower jaws, a red swollen upper gum, bad breath, drooling and poor appetite. She received her MMR shots a week and a half ago. No more fever. What is she going through?

The entire symptom complex suggests presence of infection in her mouth, more specifically, her gums (gingivitis). The lumps under her jaws are lymph glands, and they will subside once she is given antibiotics. Even her bad breath, gum swelling and poor appetite will go down. Please make sure she gets either penicillin tablets/syrup or metronidazole syrup to cover for certain common germs that cause oral and gum infections.

I think she should improve in less than a week.

The fever is unlikely to be related to the MMR vaccine, although the time-frame is certainly right. I am saying this because fever and rash are usually the late effects of the MMR and not fever and gingivitis.
