What Could Be The Reason For Having Redness On Top Of My Foot?
My mom s foot is black, bruised and red. She has redness on the top of her foot that has grown since this morning. It is painful. She says she isnt a diabetic. Is there something we can do till she can get to the dr. in the am? No open wounds. Thanks Wendy

It may be cellulitis most probably. Consult the dermatologist or surgeon immediately. After thorough examination and investigations,he may render perfect treatment like antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs,local antibiotic cream etc. Tell her to keep affected leg elevated.
