What Could Be The Reason For Having Shaking After I Am Asleep?

I am a 74 year old woman. Diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2, three years ago. My doctors does not have me on medication. I only take 81mg asprin. Recently, when I am asleep I shake, first started in a hip, then ankle, and then my entire body. It wakes me. It doesn t last long, only seconds. I had been taking Biotin 10,000 mcg. What can cause this? thanks

Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir

Usually in patients with autonomic neuropathy, patient will have variable heart rate and blood pressure which varies on change in posture.

Secondly nervous degeneration which might be due to alziehemer disease or some other reasons need to be ruled out.

So it is adviced to take methylcobalamine and alpha lipoic acid capsules or vitamin b12 injections for a week. Avoid pregabalin.

Thanks
