What Could Be The Reason For Having Sharp Stabbing Pains Under My Breast And Continuous Bleeding?
I have been getting sharp stabbing pains under my left breast they come on without warning even when Im doing nothing and they can go suddenly. Leaving no traces of pain. I am awaiting a scan appointment for continuios bleeding over 10weeks now, Im not sure if the 2 are related.
Heavy blood flow more than 10 weeks must be taken care immediately. It may be due to hormonal changes, Intra uterine devices or diseases like fibroids, endometriosis etc. Also hormonal imbalances can cause pain in breasts too. Your age is also an important factor to be considered (as you haven't mentioned it).
I advise you to do: USG pelvis, PAP smear & also a mammogram to rule out malignancy at the earliest. consult your gynecologist for further assistance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
