What Could Be The Reason For Having Sneezing And Stuffy Nose After Swimming?

I ve been swimming in an indoor pool since January. However, the last three times I swam in the pool I get these cold symptoms. A couple hours after I start to sneeze and then stuffy to the point where I can t breath through my nose. What the heck is going on I ve been swimming for years and never had this problem.

HI.Noted your history of getting a stuffy nose ans sneezing after swimming in an indoor pool.
This simply means that the chemicals they are using for sterilizing the water is in excess off the limits ans that is irritating your nose hence the sneezing and later blockage of the nose due to congestion of the mucosal membrane.

The treatment obviously is to avoid the allergens meaning not swimming till the water in the swimming pol is normalized.
