What Could Be The Reason For Having Stomach Cramps With Bouts Of Uncontrollable Bowel Movements?

im 60 female family history of colon ca, stomach ca and pancreatic ca. been having stomach cramps with bouts of uncontrollable bowel movement. may happen 3-4 times a week. pain doubles me over sometimes..hx total hyst, appendix out, stint in kidney and heart and positive h-pyloia in past. Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Looks like a bowel infection to me...take a course of antibiotic like metronidazole along with a ppi...if it dosent resolve...get a colonoscopy done to rule out cancer of the colon... eat healthy and hygenic to prevent infection...
