What Could Be The Reason For Having Vomiting Feeling After Eating My Meal?

Hi Doc, I have multiple gall bladder stones since last 6 months and do not feel any pain. But since last 3 days, I get the feeling of vomiting after eating my meal. Also, when I press my upper abdomen, i feel pain which I do not feel otherwise. I am a regular smoker with 1-2 cigs a day. I would appreciate your advise

Thanks for contacting HCM. Nausea after meals are one of the symptoms of gall bladder stones, so, the most likely cause of your symptoms are the stones in your gall bladder. Smoking can lead to erosions and ulcers in stomach which can also lead to nausea after meals. Please get your gall stones removed by surgery at the earliest as surgery is the only treatment for them. Delay may lead to some serious complications and will make surgery more difficult. Stop smoking. regards
