What Could Be The Reason For Large Skin Tag Under Arm Which Is Filled With Fluid?
My husband has a large skin tag under his arm and recently it filled with fluid then developed a couple of soars and the fluid leaked out. The tag shrunk up and now he has a bunch of very sore soars below the tag on the left side under the arm and down the left side of his belly. Any ideas on what this might be?
Hello, Thanks for the query, Skin tags are usually associated with diabetes. They are not fluid filled. Fluid is seen in infections. Probably the skin tag has developed a bacterial infection. He needs treatment with oral and topical antibiotics. Once infection is under control it needs to be removed with radiofrequency ablator. A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
