What Could Be The Reason For Missing Periods And Pain And Cramps In Lower Abdomen?
Hi, I am worried I hav missed my periods this month month and I also took a pregnancy test which came to be negative. I feel sudden pain in my lower abdomen sometimes on right side and sometimes on ledt side. I also feel campring in my lower abdomen. Please help???
Hi, Thanks for the query. Usually menstrual cycle with length 21 days to 35 days can be taken as normal. The pains you are having may be indicating impending periods. And possibly you may get the periods soon. Other possibilities are : - Pelvic inflammatory disease -Early pregnancy. Sometimes urine pregnancy test kit may not detect early pregnancy.
So, once consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound. Ultrasound helps in ruling out pregnancy and in finding out possibilities like pelvic infection. Then with doctor's advice you can take symptomatic treatment. Take care.
