What Could Be The Reason For Muscle Soreness, Weakness, Swollen Lymph Nodes Under Arm?

Hi, I am a 38 year old relatively healthy woman. I have been feeling muscle soreness and weakness for a few weeks now. It is getting worse and I don t know what it is. I had a tooth infection originally, took 10 days of amoxicillin and the infection went away I thought but shortly after that 2 new abscesses emerged in my mouth. So I don t know if thin muscle soreness and weakness is a result of the infection... I also have a couple of lumps under my arms indicating swollen lymphs. If someone can give me some insight as to what can be wrong with me. I don t feel like myself at all and everyday simple things are becoming hard to do.

HI,
Yes it could be part of an ongoing infection which might be spreading to rest of your body. You need to consult a physician and get blood cultures done especially if you star getting fever. The lumps under your armpits are lymph glands which might be swollen due to the infection.

There is also a possibility of the muscle soreness and weakness to be due to antibiotic side effects. But if you have stopped taking them then it should resolve.
