What Could Be The Reason For On And Off Swelling In Vaginal Lips Nearing The Date Of Periods?

Hi, my vaginal lips got really swollen for the second time. It never happened to me before but now this is the second time it happens when I get closer to my period. The right lip got really swollen as if it grew a head that dangled from my vagina. I can send you a picture if you can reach me out on. I would really appreciate it because I can t afford medical help right now and I m freaking out. Thank you

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
From the description given by you, it appears to be vaginal endometriosis & needs excision (removal), followed by treatment to prevent recurrence like contraceptive pills OR Lupron depot. Its preferable that you consult gynecologist, but if you can't, you can take OTC pain killers for the time being along with contraceptive pills to reduce its occurrence.
Wish you good health.
Regards.
