What Could Be The Reason For Periods Irregularity?
I have an irregular period where for the last year it has been 60 days, 50 days, 60 days, 52 days, 56 days, 40 days. I always spot brown 2-3 days before my period. December 12th I had a normal for me period. Normal bleeding for 7days. On January 6th I spotted brown so figured I was getting my period. The next day I spotted bright red..put a tampon in and 4 hours later I took my tampon out and there was barely anything on the tampon but the amount that was there was bright red mixed with brown, that continued the 7th-10th, The 11th I had two spots of red in the morning and nothing since. I don t know what to think if this was a light period or something else. Please help!
Well the menstrual irregularity and the color of your periods indicate a possibility of either a condition called polycystic ovaries or someother cause that is resulting in a hormonal imbalance.
I would recommens a visit to the doctor for a check on your blood hormone levels and an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
