What Could Be The Reason For Sharp Pains In Left Ribcage?

I have been having very sharp shooting pains in my left side ribcage for about 4 days now with no signs of getting better. Thought it may be due to shoveling snow and pulled something but since it hasn t seemed to be subsiding I thought maybe I should check it out?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern from the given history here I could say that this pain may be due to the muscle spasm or at the most the liver pathology need to be differentiated till then this can be minimize by taking the Tab Acetaminophen three times in day, if this is the liver pathology then taking analgesic is contra indicated, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
