My 17 year old daughter said that she noticed a bruise on the right upperside of her rib cage last night. She said it just seemed like a normal bruise and thought nothing of it. This morning she showed me the bruise and the coloring in a couple of areas is so compact that it actually looks like ink. She said that it wasn t there last night. There s also a small lump underneath the bruise. The bruise is no bigger than a half dollar. Upon checking on the bruise this evening there isn t really any change and doesn t appear to be any larger than this morning. She also said that it only hurts if the lump is pushed on. There doesn t appear to be any broken skin leading us to believe that it probably is not an insect bite of some sort. My daughter said that she doesn t remember getting hit there or anything. We are stumped.
