Thick white discharge from vagina is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present , thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection .
This discharge is basically the cells and fluids which are shed through the vagina to protect and to keep the vagina clean. However if there is abnormal white vaginal discharge it could be due to any one infection.
Wash the genital area with anti-septic lotion or thiruphala churanam add with hot water.
Eat Aloe vera, is the most effective herbal treatment.
Having a glass of buttermilk every day , especially at night is helpful in killing the yeast infection .
Soak little coriander seeds in water overniight and drink this water in the morning.

White discharge can be normal at the start and end of your cycle.If there is itching there may be yeast infection.Clear discharge is also normal usually mid cycle.In case of yeast infection you will need candid cream or pessary.
