What Could Be The Reason Of Loud Thumping Noise Heard From Chest, and A Sensation Of Something Bursting Out Of Chest?

Hi, okay so, last night I was sitting down, relaxing watching tv and out of nowhere i started hearing this loud thumping noise that was really loud, I look down and I see my chest moving like something was about to burst through my chest and my jugular was going crazy. What happened? It's never happened before and it scared the hell out of me.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
The sound you are saying is mostly due to gaseous distention of stomach and release of gas from it.
But better to get done ecg and 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause for your symptoms.
If both are normal than no need to worry much for cardiac or jugular vein disease.
You are mostly having gaseous release from stomach.
So better to avoid hot and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids orally.
Start proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
