What Could Be The Reason That I Have Missed My Period ?

i've been trying to get pregnant since march. my last period was april 7th. today is may 9th & i haven't gotten my period. i'm in hopes that i'm pregnant but scared that the reason i might not have my period yet is because i have appendix surgery april 20th. could that be a reason i've missed my period? could i still get pregnant even after having that surgery? i really hope you can help, i'm hoping i'm really pregnant & it's not surgery affecting it.

  hi,  If you have a short cycle of <28 days you have a chanse of conception.You can confirm it by preg. test.  at the same time a normal period can be delayed due to the stress &strain of operation.   Wish you the best!
