What Could Be The Reason To Have Dark Vagina ?
I am 20 y/o. Me and my husband are having sex 1-3x a week for 7 months already. I am bothered because my vagina, literally the skin inside my vagina not the skin around it, seems darker than before. Is it because of our active sexual activity? Is it bad? What might be the problem and how will I restore my skin as before?

Is there any vaginal discharge. Any pain or itching. Usually inner vaginal skin is not pigmented because to sex but could indicate infection. Better to get it looked at by the Gynaecologist to be safe from infections like Bacterial vaginosis. Keep the area clean and hygienic. Drink plenty of water. Consult your Gynaecologist in this regard for proper diagnosis and management.

Dark pigmentation could be due to friction or high iron content.There is no harm as such.Once the pigmentation sets in its difficult to get rid of it.Drink plenty of water.Avoid sex without adequate lubrication.
