What Could Be The Reasons For A Indent Appearing On The Thigh?

A half dollar size indent appeared on my lower thigh about 6 months ago, no pain at all. Just two days ago an area about two inches round, with a quarter size lump in the center protruding on my calf, the same leg and no pain. Should I be concerned and see a doctor ASAP?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
There are a few possibilities here. It may be due to contact of the thigh muscle with a heavy object that could leave an indentation.
It can be an eczematous reaction to an allergen like pollen, heavy metal or any other unusual substance.
Your query is a bit ambiguous to me. Can you write a bit more on the lesion? Also, is it possible to upload an image of the same?
You can consult me again directly through my profile http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-saurabh-gupta/64132
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
Warm Regards
