What Could Be The Reasons For Having Pain And Blood After Cleaning Ears By Cotton?
My daughter happened to clean her ears with a cotton bud,all by herself. Then suddenly when she removed the bud it has on it and she says that it hurts. As per my observation, there s still some blood coming out and im a bit nervous of that. What should i do? Do she need a medical attention now?

she has probably injured either the ear canal or the drum.
do not worry even if the ear drum is torn it usually heals on its own unless complicated by infection.
please consult an ENT specialist to know the site of injury.
till then keep her ears dry and do not try to clean the ear.
in future do not try to clean the insides of the ear with buds or anything else because they do not require cleaning
